In terms of monthly production November 2020 was a record for Promens Zlin. Thanks to all our people we successfully fulfilled the production plan to 107% despite the impact of COVID-19. We had machines with an OEE of 77% and 89%

What is the reason for the record production volume? Among other things, it is an increased demand for interior parts from vacuum moulds with subsequent CNC processing from Snoeks Automotive.
At the end of 2020, the demand for interior and exterior parts for buses, tractors, vans and construction machinery increased.

The real peak was the second weekend of November, when the production ran non-stop!
Because we needed to replace co-workers on sick leave and in quarantine, colleagues from the offices, contributed to 56 shifts, and critically strengthened production! “Everyone who was not afraid of this challenge deserves a big thank you for the great approach and willingness to gain new experience from our production,” Zdeněk Rajch.
Due to sickness or COVID-19 quarantine, we faced a major outage in production. Thanks to the extraordinary cooperation of people in production and people from offices, 56 shifts were secured. “This also helped to meet the increased volumes of our customers’ orders,” Zdeněk Rajch.

OEE VF and CNC? Fully!
OEE statistics identify the effectiveness of individual machines – their optimum quality/speedZx production, preparation, service. “It is stated that Top companies, after the successful implementation of TPM – Total Productive Maintenance – achieve OEE at the level of 85%.
